The First Tee (San Jose) which offers lessons in San Jose and Palo Alto is accepting registrations for the fall program.  Classes are 60 – 90 minutes long and the youngest age is 2nd grade. Cost for classes is $65 for the entire session and financial assistance is available. Plus no equipment is needed!
If you like golf, the only PGA tour sponsored event in the Silicon Valley is coming soon, the Frys.com Open. Part of the funds raised from this golf tournament help to support The First Tee. And if you like golf but don’t play (guilty!) volunteers are needed too.
Update: Children of National Guardsman and Reservists are invited to participate in The First Tee of San Jose for FREE.
